Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas

  1. Hello Jim
Great Thought thanks for sharing. I too Share in the joy of celebrating our savior openly and boldly. I often think though that we as Christians are to be the ones who express this to the world and not force the world express it to us.

I have many friends who get upset when they are greeted with happy holidays, rather than Merry Christmas. This reaction reminds of the way we say I love you to others and then get upset because they don't quickly say it back. When I speak it comes from the abundance of my heart not from a sense of duty or obligation. The one on the other side of the counters in retail are told how to greet what to greet an so on. In this I can tell when one greets me because he has to and another because they enjoy my presence.

So to keep this Short I will say, I would rather not be told a thing by force just to hear what I like. After all that is what most salespeople do anyway.

God Bless and do have a Merry Christmas my Friend.

If you get time check out this blog it is new and authored by another brother in Christ. http://mountainmovingfaithministries.blogspot.com/
