Think about it, many people
believe that America has been drifting with extremely soft leadership during
the past seven and one-half years. We
have prematurely exited a war zone where we had won the war, toppled the
dictator, but then under a new Administration, announced to the world the day
we were going to leave the zone and not help the new government stand
alone. The result: the creation of ISIS. We established a policy that started the
civil wars in several countries like Egypt and Syria, calling it the "Arab
Spring" that created a vacuum that ushered in the Muslim Brotherhood in
Egypt, and stepped back far enough to allow for the Islamic State in Syria to
continue their expansion where tens of thousands have been left homeless in
that destabilization venture. The result
of that was a stronger ISIS, tens of thousands of refugees flooding into Europe
and around the world.
The borders of the United
States have been left open resulting in a flood of people from other countries
flowing across the open borders illegally and placing undue economic burdens on
the states that accumulated many thousands to flood the welfare rolls and
public schools. The response to the
states trying to enforce the laws of immigration have been met with the federal
government bringing lawsuits against them.
Domestically, we have had
the National Security Administration (NSA) spying on the American people,
another federal government agency singling out conservative organizations to
threaten them with prolonged waiting times in securing their operational
licenses', along with additional requirements beyond those things needed to
operate. Additionally, the economy has had the slowest recovery and growth in
the last sixty years with GNP growth hovering at around an anemic two percent, while at the same time the
unemployment has increased in real numbers to double digits. Despite the public is being told by the
federal government employment is up, the numbers do not reflect the millions who
have dropped out of the labor force entirely by just not looking for employment
anymore. Even the work-force that is
measured fails to be truthful by citing the staggering numbers of workers who
have lost full-time jobs to part-time jobs due to the government healthcare
program referred to as Obamacare.
During the past almost eight
years the nation's military has been significantly reduced in size and
capability. The composition of the Joint
Chiefs and senior General staff has been significantly changed and replaced by
those whose council matches the Administration's. Many of those former Generals and
high-ranking military career officers have stated the equipment in the military
has been allowed to deteriorate at alarming levels, with many aircraft using spare
parts obtained from the long-past retirement of various aircraft now sitting in
the "graveyard."
Various governmental
departments like the Department of Energy, Department of Commerce,
Environmental Protection Agency, and other regulatory Departments have created
thousands of regulations that hamper the growth of the economy, the production
of jobs, and energy production leading to energy independence. Presently, after years of regulations being
placed on industries like the coal industry, there are many fearing for their
livelihood because of the eventual destruction of the fossil fuel
industry. Hillary Clinton, the democrat
presumptive nominee for President of the United States, has promised to shut
down the coal industry and has promised to set aside funding for welfare for
the thousands of employees in that industry to "take care of
them."
So here we are, entering
into a season of the 2016 election cycle with two candidates who are as
opposite as they could possibly be. The
democrat candidate, Hillary Clinton, promises to be the "third term"
of the current President who has brought us the malaise we currently suffer as
a result of the entirety of his two terms in the Office. The republican candidate, is of course an
unknown, or outsider apart from the political structure. Each are clamoring to out-speak the other,
but both insisting the other is "unqualified" to be President. Hillary Clinton is a total insider having
been in the political arena for most of her professional life; governor's wife,
First Lady to the President, Senator from New York, and Secretary of State
under President Barak Obama. Donald
Trump, on the other hand, has never held an elected office at the state or
federal level. That allows him be make
his claim of being an outsider.
The difference between the
two, however, could not be any more different.
In fact, they are almost an exact mirror image of each other. Where Hillary Clinton, the insider, has not
really accomplished much of anything during her decades of being an insider,
Donald Trump has amassed an eleven billion dollar empire of properties all over
the world, a payroll of tens of thousands of employees, a network of business
owners and CEOs in many of the major industries of the world.
When asked personally about
her achievements during her political career, Hillary Clinton presents a
"word-salad" of platitudes and homilies that either cause the
listener to nod off in slumber, or be wide-eyed at learning the total lack of
accomplishments during her entire career.
When asked about his achievements during his business career, Donald
Trump lists dozens of skyscrapers his real estate company has built and owns,
professional buildings, businesses, world-class golf courses, hotels, casinos,
and property management endeavors he has completed. When one begins to examine closely, and
compare the two candidates in reference to accomplishments, skills, experience,
and success, it becomes clear that Donald Trump has dwarfed Hillary Clinton in
every area measured. Remember too,
anything that Hillary has accomplished has been done with the full-throated
power of the state or federal government.
Anything that Donald Trump has accomplished has been done by-and-large in
the private sector.
The question is, "Who
would you want to take the reins of the Federal Government at the Presidential
level, one with a history of firing the employees at the White House Travel
Agency for not bending to the favors demanded from the First Lady, or one who
has a history of consistently making payroll for tens of thousands of employees
in a vast multi-billion dollar, privately held, build from scratch, industry?
